The Boston Sports Performance Center located at the new Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, MA will open in September in a brand new, state-of-the-art sports complex, offering:
Sports Performance Training for Youths and Adults
Maximize your athletic performance with custom training focused on improving your strength, speed, flexibility and endurance to maximize performance and prevent injuries. Our elite team of trainers have worked with Boston’s top professional athletes to help them get in tip top shape and stay that way.
Whether you are recovering from surgery or an injury, our expert team of physical therapists will provide a full range of therapy options to help you optimize your recovery and restore mobility, all in a brand new modern facility with the latest equipment and treatment modalities.
Some of Boston’s best orthopedic sports medicine physicians will provide the most up-to-date medical and arthroscopy treatments for sports injuries including new minimally invasive, biologic treatments to preserve joints and avoid the need for joint replacements. When surgery is recommended, we use less-invasive arthroscopic surgery techniques to repair shoulder and knee injuries. The center also uses state-of-the-art reconstructive techniques to repair anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), cartilage and other knee injuries. The medical team, led by Dr. Thomas Gill, chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, specializes in ACL reconstruction, articular cartilage and meniscus repair, and shoulder surgery, including rotator cuff and labral repairs. Additionally, we offer a Sports Concussion Clinic, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic, Regenerative Medicine and Tactical Athlete Clinic.
